Hi, I’m Audrey Darling

I write character driven romance across subgenres including sports, hacker and tech, mafia, and modern fantasy, where messy hearts still choose love. My stories balance swoon with substance, featuring found family, second chances, and hard won happily ever afters. If you like tension that simmers, banter with bite, and heroes who learn to communicate (eventually), you'll feel right at home here.

I'm based in Colorado, raising a curious kiddo, finishing my degree in Business Administration, and hauling camera gear to golden hour scenes when I'm not elbows deep in revisions. I'm a playlist maker, a structure nerd, and a believer that romance is both art and architecture, with emotion layered over intentional craft. You'll see that in how I build story arcs that reward patience, in small gestures that lead to meaningful payoffs, and in epilogues that feel like a deep exhale.

My current lineup includes Blurred Lines & Base Hits (a second chance romance that collides with wedding week chaos), Broken Masks (a hacker duology where intelligence is undeniably attractive), The King (an Irish mob romance with a heart on the line), and a wintry werewolf duology for readers who like their angst with a little moonlight.
